General Information
The 7th grade Science Club was created with the mission of extending the curriculum beyond the classroom. The science club is for 7th graders only. We meet the first Thursday of every month in Ms. Frye's classroom, which is on the blue hall (near the yellow hall).
To join Science Club you will need a permission slip (found at the bottom of this page) and your $20.00 dues. The money from dues will help cover the cost of materials for the monthly meetings and a Science Club t-shirt. The 1st Science Club meeting will be Sept. 5th from 4:30-6:00 PM, with an informational parent meeting immediately following. Be sure to get a permission slip from your Science teacher before the 1st meeting!!
During our monthly meetings we will explore and participate in activities associated with a different topic every month. Some of these fun activities deal with anatomy, genetics, ecology, botany, marine biology, Earth Day, and others.
We are planning at least 3 field trips for this school year.
